Hell Pawn

The Pawn is the basic, yet "fodder" unit in the ranks of the Hellot(it's a dumb pun on the word zealot, by the way. I actually thought of using the less offensive term "Hecklers" if need be, which I actually like a lot better) army. They're basically the equivalent of Morden Soldiers in the Metal Slug games: scared, stupid, and weak, but numerous.

I was kinda disappointed yesterday when I spelunked through my gallery and noticed I didn't have a single pic devoted to this little guy. He is a tad simple, and perhaps even a little cliche, but it's always been one of my personal favorite designs I've ever done. Essentially, they're just a ragdoll(literally) stuffed into a rubber jumpsuit. But there was something about the way I drew the very first one that locked into my head exactly how they'd move about on their extremely short legs and it made me feel like I could actually do something with my pointless doodles.

Yes, a tattered ragdoll in a rubber jumpsuit from Hell instilled me with a sense of accomplishment.
