Artist's Comments

Cluttered, crowded pic of Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, and several other recurring characters from the Mario universe.

One thing that makes the Mario series better than the Sonic series(in my opinion, and besides controls, voices, and fun factor) is that it's enemies are still a big part of the series. Goombas appear in nearly every game(besides SMB2 and Super Mario Sunshine....that's it, I think), as do Koopa Troopas, Piranha Plants, Bullet Bills, etc. Shy Guys(my favorite!) have, since SMB2, become extremely talented, and in their second game, SMW2:YI, have now more than 20 different varieties, ranging from gourmets to flying gardeners. Then Sonic series always has new enemies in each installment(for the most part), and in recent games, there are only 6-8 different enemy types.

On the downside, Mario is rather undeveloped. Sure, we know he loves pasta, but that's about it. Oh, cake, too. Don't forget cake.

Flat shaded cuz I'm lazy. For the first time ever, I'm happy with my pic of Waluigi! Yosh!!

Great as always. Mario games are also better because they're more stable, the 3D Sonic games can be really glitchy at times. Anyhow, as I said countless times before, your cartoony style makes all of the characters look great. faved.

But Mario isn't the type of chara to develop! I mean, Rockman is the same way- look what Capcom did when they tried to 'develop' him- crappy games and a fucked up storyline!
Sure- maybe alil more... life in to the chara, yet I think Mario is fine with that lack in his personality- makes the games fun... tho, they always have this repeatedness about them that make me get bored of them>>

Oh well... I like that you CGed this clutter- It's easier to spot out the charas(and I don't know ALL the mario gang!) No Baby Mario- or that really funky tall Shy-guy ;0;
But I do love how you drew Luigi and his counterpart.
